Marty serves on the Board of Directors for the Vermont Pharmacists Association and has worked in Vermont pharmacies since 2006. Marty's nominator wrote "Marty was the first pharmacist in Vermont to establish himself as a provider ( with Rutland Regional Medical Center) in order to provide diabetic counseling and management services. He was saluted by former APhA President Nancy Alvarez as a leader in Pharmacy practice in her president's address.
